PRIMTIVE ARTEFACTS:
Visual Recording
1 Be able to identify and select primary and other sources for recording purposes
2 Understand the process of exploring and recording through appropriate mark making skills
3 Understand how to communicate information to different audiences through visual recording
4 Be able to analyse and refine developmental studies to produce outcomes.
1. Research and collate different images of masks and primitive artefacts from the internet, books, art resources and artefacts. Draw these into your sketchbook using a variety of appropriate media.
2. Create a series of diverse drawings using appropriate media and materials- presenting all your work in an appropriate and personal manner.
3. Document and annotate all of your sketches- explaining what each item is made from, how they were made, what the purpose of them is and what you think about them- in relation to Primitive Art forms.
4. Analyse and evalute your images, thinking about there purpose and how this could relate to your own ideas and thinking.
